Microbicides would definitely not work for HIV coz HIV is virus, where else microbicides probably seem to make more sense with attacking bacteria and microbes. Monogamy. Abstinence. Cruel as it may sound, is the best method of both contraception and STD prevention. Otherwise, we all just have to take matters into our own hands...DIY.
